Shop-Up

I do walk around the city a lot. Most of the time, this exercise empties my pockets. For this city has such an amazing array of stuff to "shop up" at! From fairs to lovely boutiques...from high end designers to the jazz playing street artist who also makes these coolest earrings...and heart warming (or breaking, depending on your budget) vintage stores and fairs and nooks and corners.

And it does not help that now I have an iPhone...I click a picture and send it to my close friend and Style Icon in Omaha, (yes, Omaha, Nebraska) and she falls in love with it. So then, I just have to have it. For myself, of course :). And a second one...for her.
 

I also walk through the online style lanes at night, checking on the trendy and the not so trendy eccentrics and that too, most times than not, empties my pockets.

 

But who was it who said wisely, "A person with empty pockets is a happier person, if the pockets belong to that stunning jacket he/she has so desired? ". Maybe I just made it up. But it is nearly half true.
