Dress-Up

We all need moments when we just need to feel special.

Virginia Woolf described Mrs Dalloway's love of throwing a beautiful party as a "tribute to life"............"that's what I do it for...they are an offering"...."everyone goes home saying....aah! what a lovely party it was...aah! what fun it was...aah! how good it is to be alive" :)
So it could be any occasion we create, then. An evening out with your loved one....the concert or opera we save up for...the lunch or late night drinks with girlfriends....a random event at your favourite store...a book reading.....the "dress up" night on your vacation one hour or twenty hours away from home...your child's special function at school....or that day when you are feeling low.... AND that day when you are feeling low, which is the day to dress up even if it is to the grocers or to work or your doctor's appointment!

We don't need an occasion to dress up for. We need to create the occasion. The fairy dust is in our hands. The mantra is 'Dont be afraid to dress up, when you feel like dressing up!"

This section has the days I dress up for myself and for you.
